When the first man to orbit Mars returns to his small town, he reconnects with several estranged acquaintances who upend his already tenuous sense of reality and send him on a new mission to discover the meaning of life on Earth.
Synopsis
Tom, a small-town Nebraska hero who has just returned from Mars, and must reconcile a mystical, life-changing experience in space while reconnecting to life on the farm and to those closest to him.
Set against the sweeping backdrop of Nebraska landscapes, farms, and small towns, this isn’t so much a story about outer space, but rather those spaces that occur between family members and past lovers, and the confusion Tom is now attempting to sort through as his memories of earth aren’t quite what others say they are.
